Furniture and Woodworking

In the woodworking industry, bonding is an indispensable method for joining two or more carriers. A range of water based and hot melt adhesives is available for all furniture applications with specialty adhesives for binding difficult surfaces.

Bookbinding

Hot melts formulated to run on fast and slow speed binders across a wide range of coated and uncoated papers with good opening and lay flat properties. Side glues and adhesives for inserts.

Tapes and Labelling

Pressure sensitive hot melts are formulated for a wide variety of applications coated on to paper, film or non-woven materials. Bonds may have a high peel and shear strength or may be peelable.

3D Membrane Pressing

Forbo Helmitin one and two part cross linking polyurethane dispersions are used for laminating thermoplastic foils, for example PVC and PP onto pre-profiled work pieces by deep-drawing and heat sealing in a membrane press.
